    Wrap it Up! Volunteers Needed!

    By volunteering to wrap gifts at Sunridge Mall or Bankers hall, you are not only getting into the Christmas spirit, but you can feel good knowing that you have given back to your community this holiday season. All proceeds that are donated for wrapping presents will be going to Nurture Yourself Program. They teach empowerment and developing self esteem.     Christmas Interlude

    Just in time for the holidays Calgary Cinematheque will be showing two lesser known Christmas movies. The first, which starts running December 1 at 7pm, is a Canadian film called The Silent Partner that features a very young John Candy.     Christmas Carols and Lullabies in Spanish

    This year, Spiritus Chamber Choir has delved into the collection of Christmas carols and lullabies in Spanish. The collection will include music from the Renaissance to today. The performance will include choir, harp, guitar and marimba. The show is December 5 at 8pm at Christ Church Elbow Park. Ticket can be purchased here.
